The course for International Business is designed to meet the asprations and requirements of new economy professionals who seek specialized and specific knowledge in International trade, operations, marketing, logistics and supply chain. This course provides a framework for analyzing decisions made by firms in an international context. In turn, this framework provides the basis for formulating strategies that will enable businesses to succeed in the international business environment. The one year diploma also stresses the need to pay attention to personal skill of an Individual like grooming business etiquette, time management, communication skill etc.

HLCPE was established in 1983 to cater to the needs of coaching the students aspiring for the CA Professional courses, as no such academic facility was available in the city. In 1998 the centre became the accredited coaching centre of the institute of Charted Accountants of India and has achieved high accolades and popularity as a result of consistent and proven results and ranks at national level. In June 2005, the centre introduced the autonomous professional courses by blending various areas of management with information technology.
The institute is an autonomous center of academic excellence which complements an excellent infrastructure with well designed curriculum driven by qualified and competent faculty, many of whom are highly regarded in the corporate and academic world. The syllabus of the courses, admission procedure, pedagogy and even the evaluation system is designed in tune with the changing business environment. Today, the centre offers various specialized Diploma courses of professional value.
HLCPE functions in tandem with the H L College of Commerce, (graded A+ by the NAAC, Bangalore), other institutions on the campus and its alumni. Accommodation:
Hostel accommodation is available for outstation students. There are separate hostels for boys and girls. They are situated close to the institute, thereby providing easy access to the campus. These hostels have well managed in-house mess.
Placement:
For the Post Graduate students the Placement Cell is devoted to cater to the needs of the organizations in conducting campus interview for placements. Interactions with organizations are regularly done for placement requirements. Placement cell also conducts career guidance, workshops to the students of professional courses to face their future with confidence.
